Stories

If you have a caravan and not much else to do,

Just join the Shell Club`s little group, they`re quite a happy crew,

And once you`re in their merry band, there`s one thing that`s for sure,

There`s always some new gadget, to buy, that someone saw.

A favourite shop is LIDL`s, they get most anything,

And Dave or Bill will always find strange bits of kit to bring.

Then everyone will gather round with oohs and aahs galore

And they`ll both stand there proudly, while we gaze on in awe.

The latest fad`s a round thing, it`s called dish they say.

They  utter words like Astra One or Hotbird, then they  play

Around with compass looking bits and point them at the sky.

Just hold it there, no up a bit, now move it left, they cry.

Then finally, they get a list of programmes on a screen,

And up down the numbers go, that`s something to be seen.

I`m getting on a bit you`ll know, my TV licence`s free.

I think I`ll just be satisfied with good old BBC.
